A Missive from The Reverend Charles T. Sembly
Activities at Union Bethel to Comply with CDC Directives
Greetings to my Union Bethel Family:

84805935F057It is my hope and prayer that you and members of your family and extended family are well! All of us are aware as this has been publicized over the past several days of the Coronavirus as it continues to affect people throughout our Nation and the world. As Christians, we remain in prayer for all who have been directly affected and for those who are charged with the task of providing medical care.
The impact of this virus has created major disruptions to our daily routines and has a rippling effect.
As a result out of genuine concern for the well-being of our Union Bethel members, I want to make certain that every precaution is taken to ensure the safety and care of all of our members and other congregants through minimizing contact and exposure to the Coronavirus.

Therefore, Until  further notice:

  •  The church building will be closed to members and the community
  • Worship Services will not occur at Union Bethel
  • All activities, including meetings, Bible Studies, rehearsals and other gatherings scheduled at the church and trips scheduled and sponsored by the church are postponed

Please check back on our website for all updates

Tithes and Offerings:
During this time please know you may make your tithes and offering online via debit, credit, Givelify or PayPal at:
In an effort to keep our members informed, I shall post regular updates on and other social media/Facebook sites. I am requesting that should you know of any member who does not have access to email, that you would give them a call and make them aware of this missive.
Tonight, I will have a Conference Call with some of the leadership of our Church to discuss additional steps we can take to ensure the well-being of our members and all who worship at Union. Let us continue to follow the directives of the Center for Disease Control such as hand washing and avoid participating in large gatherings. I urge you to please check on our loved ones, especially our Seniors. Let us continue to pray for one another!
I remain…In His Service, Charles T. Sembly, Pastor
