For Parents and Guardians: The Union Bethel A.M.E. Church School curriculum is designed to help shape younger students’ spiritual beliefs with elementary teachings of Biblical truth in collaboration with colorful pictures, engaging discussion and activities to instill knowledge leading to changes in attitude and behavior. The curriculum is designed to encourage and inspire young people to continue their spiritual growth outside the confines of their home, church and school.

Youth in early to late adolescence need wisdom and guidance from the Bible in order to make independent and intelligent choices within the will of God. The coursework helps shape urban teenagers' spiritual beliefs with deeper teachings of Biblical truth in collaboration with sophisticated Biblical art in the magazines, engaging discussion and activities to instill knowledge leading to changes in attitude and behavior.
