Virtual Connectional Baccalaureate and Graduate Recognition Service for the Class of 2020
The deadline for participating and completing the form is May 31, 2020.
Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

virtual gradWhile there has been and will continue to be an outpouring of support for 2020 graduates, we can only imagine the range of emotions experienced by this group. Many high school, vocational school, and college and university graduates may not be recognized in the traditional graduation and/or commencement exercises we have come to expect and anticipate.

Therefore the Fellowship of Church Educators (FCE), a ministry in the Department of Christian Education of the AME Church, is planning a virtual baccalaureate and graduate recognition service for the Class of 2020. We ask for your help in identifying AMEs that have satisfied all requirements to graduate this year because we NEED to acknowledge the scholastic achievement of these students and celebrate this milestone with them.

The virtual baccalaureate and graduate recognition will be a pre-recorded video. It will include the service as well as the names and information of graduates throughout the Connection, along with special commencement acknowledgements. The graduate is asked to visit the Christian Education Department's website (, complete the form online, and submit it. The deadline for participating and completing the form is May 31, 2020. The video will be available for viewing and downloading on Sunday, June 14, 2020. There is no cost to graduates participating or anyone downloading the video! FCE wants our graduates to be encouraged as they proceed to the next stage(s) of their educational or work journey.
