Key Primary Election Dates — Maryland 2026
- June 2, 2026 — Voter Registration Deadline
- If you miss this deadline, you may register during Early Voting or on Election Day.
June 11–18, 2026 — Early Voting Period - Check your state’s election website if you vote outside Maryland.
- June 16, 2026 — Mail in Ballot Request Deadline (Mail or Fax)
- June 19, 2026 — Mail in Ballot Request Deadline (Online)
- Mail requests due by 5 p.m.; online/fax requests due by 11:59 p.m.
- June 23, 2026 — Primary Election Day
- Mail in ballots may be requested in person until 8 p.m.; ballots must be
hand delivered.
