My Sister’s Place Women’s Center is a day shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness, offering 3 meals a day 365 days a year, shower facilities, laundry services, case management, therapy, workshops, clothing and needed donations, and more.

Please Note: Financial donations are also very welcomed and appreciated. Members may add to weekly tithe, by check or Amplify or mail check to: Union Bethel AME Church,  8615 Church Lane, Randallstown, MD 21133. Each Sunday February 8, 2026 - April 26,2026
We are collecting toiletries and everyday needs for women:

Collection boxes will be on the banquet hall stage

• New women’s underwear and bras (in original packaging) and in all sizes
• Travel-sized and (some) larger sized toiletries, such as:
• Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, sanitary napkins and incontinence pads (all sizes)

***We cannot accept shaving razors, mouthwash and tampons***

CLOTHING – New & in season clothing ONLY:

• Underwear, bras, and socks
• Seasonal tops (sweaters in winter, t-shirts in summer) – no out of season clothing accepted
• Seasonal pants
• Dresses/skirts
• Shoes (athletic/casual)
• Accessories—bags, scarves, jewelry CHILDREN’S:
• Baby & Children’s Clothing
• Diapers & wipes

TOILETRIES—travel sized ONLY:

• Deodorant
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Soap
• Toothbrushes & toothpaste
• Floss
• Lotion
• Flushable wipes/bathing wipes

OPERATIONS - New/unopened ONLY:

• Liquid laundry detergent and bleach
• New towels & washcloths
• Bottled Water

CLIENT ENTERTAINMENT:

• Books
• Magazines
• Coloring books, pencils, crayons
• Playing cards
• Puzzles
• Journals

MISC.:

• Accepting Hot Weather Kits or items April - September. Includes items like sunscreen, sunglasses, cold packs, chap-stick, rain ponchos, water bottles
• Accepting winter weather Kits or items September-March—gloves, hats, scarves, hand warmers, thermal socks, etc.
• Hand warmers & cold packs
• Rain ponchos or umbrellas
• NEW blankets
• NEW sleeping bags

We DO NOT accept:

• Used items at this time
• Mouthwash and razors
• Menstrual products until further notice
• Bedding of any kind, such as pillows, mattresses, bed sheets, cribs
• Large Children’s items like cribs, etc.
• Household items, such as pots, pans, dishware, cups, toasters
• Professional clothing or out-of-season clothing
• Electronics, such as DVD players, TVs, game consoles
