For 200 years, God has been faithful to Union Bethel A.M.E. Church, carrying us from generation to generation through His amazing grace. As we celebrate this historic Bicentennial, we invite every member, family member, friend, and supporter of Union Bethel to help us share this joyful milestone with the world!

Please add your photo to our special 200th Anniversary profile frame and use it as your Facebook, Instagram, or other social media profile picture throughout our Bicentennial celebration. Together, let us fill social media with the faces of the generations who are part of Union Bethel’s story—honoring those who came before us, celebrating what God is doing among us today, and looking with faith toward the generations yet to come.

Put your face in the celebration and let the world know: Union Bethel is 200 years strong—and God is still writing our story! “One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.” — Psalm 145:4

Celebrating 200 Years of Faith, Legacy & God’s Amazing Grace!

As Union Bethel continues our historic Bicentennial journey, we give God thanks for 200 years of unwavering faith, faithful witness, and generations of believers who have carried the Gospel from generation to generation.

On Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 10am, we joyfully welcome home our church family, friends, former members, and all who have been a part of the Union Bethel story for a glorious Bicentennial Homecoming Celebration!

We are especially blessed and honored to welcome as our Homecoming Guest Preacher, Bishop Harry L. Seawright, 133rd elected and consecrated Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and Presiding Prelate of the Second Episcopal District.

A fourth-generation AME whose life and ministry have been rooted in faith and service, Bishop Seawright brings to this historic celebration a distinguished legacy of pastoral, episcopal, and denominational leadership.

As we remember the faith of those who came before us, celebrate what God is doing among us today, and look with expectation toward the generations yet to come, we invite you to join us for this extraordinary moment in the life of Union Bethel.
