“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the transition of Bishop Reginald Thomas Jackson (132nd), Presiding Prelate of the Second Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Bishop Jackson entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
A tireless servant leader, his ministry spanned decades of pastoral care, advocacy, and transformative leadership. We honor his extraordinary legacy and extend prayers to his family, the Second District, and all who mourn. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
