Our church leaders follow the Biblical model of servant leadership. They translate faith, organizational mission, traditions, beliefs and values into plans and activities.

 

Stewards

Stewards assist the pastor in the spiritual and temporal matters of the church. Members of the board are nominated by the pastor and confirmed at the Quarterly conference.

 

Trustees

Trustees are responsible for the real estate and other property owned by the church as well as for the maintenance and upkeep of the church grounds. Trustees are nominated by the pastor and elected by the membership.

 

Stewardess Boards

Union Bethel has three Stewardess Boards who assist the Stewards in the discharge of their duties. Providing the elements of Holy Communion and making adequate preparation for all Baptisms, are among the duties of the Stewardesses.

 

Class Leaders

The role of our Class Leaders is to look after the needs of the membership, both spiritual and otherwise. Class Leaders hold regular classes which provide instruction to probationary members and ultimately recommend probationers for full membership. Every member is assigned a class leader.
